BREAST RECONSTRUCTION

We offer immediate and delayed breast reconstruction to patients undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer. Our preferred technique is placing a tissue expander implant at the same time as the mastectomy, followed by inflation and then replacement with a permanent breast prosthesis and nipple-areola reconstruction. Sometimes the opposite breast may need adjustment (augmentation, reduction, or uplift) to improve symmetry. All these procedures are covered by health insurance.
